Immobiliser Bypassed?

Hi guys,

Was working on the Disco over the weekend and I decided to investigate a couple of wires which have been bugging me as they have been scotchlocked and I hate them

The two wires come through the main engine bay grommet and one appears to go to the starter motor and the other to the module/relay thats on the back of the engine bay fuse box, this then goes to the fuel pump.

Only thing I could think of is a previous own had immobiliser issues and simply bypassed it

Whats the module on the back of the fuse box for?

Fuel cut off solenoid

That's something else i've learnt, and the V8 doesn't have the module as it doesn't have fuel cut off solenoid.

On a tdi the module on the back of the fuse box is the gloplug relay-I think
