Im back;) And wanting your advice?!! (long)

Hey, well as most of you know i have been without the net for a wee while and now i am back online, yay!!

Well, story so far. . .

I got me a lil td4 freelander back in july with a few faults that the garage completely ignored and never tried to fix!

After finally having enough money to take her to Land Rover for the full inspection on exactly what was wrong i found something very bad

I need a new gearbox!!

I am not happy at all!
With faulty sunroof, window, aircon, and serious lack of a gold premium service i asked for!

Ihave now sought legal advice and am sueing the arseholes that sold it to me

They have now been given 7 days as of tommorow to collect repair and return my car before the court recieves my file!

So, am hoping due to the garages serious fook up they are gonna see that im not one to quit and are going to get my car to the standard it should have been when i drove it off the forecourt!

Given all the latest financial disasters we are all facing and the fact that i now owe more than 'Ramone' is worth, i have decided that if i cannot buy what i want to play with then i will make it out of what i have! hehe

So. . i am now cruising ebay and any landy sites i can find for tips advice and products. .

I am wanting to lift it, add a snorkel, bigger tyres and have just bought a set of roof bars..This is a good start me thinks. . .

What im wanting is for some advice on what i can do, and how?? any help would be much appreciated to get my baby to a good 'playing' standard!!

And p.s thanx to all you guys that have stayed in touch and gave me advice when i havent been able to get online

if you want cheap thrills (G-man services all the way baby ) a tdi disco is the way to go i will keep my ear to the ground for you

ere, hang on, i distinctly remember you askin us for advice and we sed they was ****e and DON"T DO IT etc - but you did anyway. Hope the dealer don't find that thread, you sought the advice of professionals and went against it!!!

Being called "ramone", i would suggest that your landy is well hung...round the neck for a very long time!!!

Hate to say it love but if you're only just getting around to legal proceedings then I don't think you'll have a leg to stand on. I hope you get it sorted though.

And Freelanders modified for serious off roading are such a rare sight I quite like the look of them. At least you'll have a different and unique vehicle out on the lanes if you do get it fixed!

well, im not saying its gonna happen straight away, ive got 2 years to get it done, and when i decide to do sumink i will!!

and as for advice i already had the car when joined this site and have followed lawyers advice the whole way and stand a good chance according to trading standards!

if now, im off to luton ashcrofts to get gearbox, will be a good excuse to take sexy men to do the job and a night in a posh hotel!!! hehe

i would dearly love a disco and def wants robint's disco but as mentioned, im stuck with what i have so will make good of it!!

wb babe, though I have spoken to you, intentionally and sometimes unintentionally rofl. I rekon he should get kitted up! That would actually make him a gaylander worth having!! Keep us posted, hope it gets sorted quickly like.
