If your RR is not working.........Keep the Faith!

Just thought I would let you all know My wife and I just got back today from doing a trip to York with the 2 kids and the boot space rammed with luggage and guess what the P38 2.5 BMW diesel was a joy to drive ,never missed abeat the whole time .
On the way up doing a steady 70 mph the obc showed 33.8mpg ,not bad considering the car was packed .
On the way home today we did a steady 80 mph the obc showed 30.4mpg and we ended up covering 446 miles .
So to everyone who is having problems with there RR keep the faith cos they are bloody great when everything does what it should and it will happen .......Keep the Faith.

Is yours chipped then? I notice my mpg drops off above 65mph, especially at 80mph.

Yes I believe it is ,when we bought in October 07 the guy we bought off said it had a Rimmer Bros plug in chip fitted ,that is as much as I know ,should asked more questions now I think about it!!
