:mad::mad::mad: Took the dam thing back for an MOT for them to say. "oh three little bits of welding on inner sills and two bulbs" Nice I thought. The smallest one I thought I'd tackle first. Started cleaning the area and seen a small but somehow inviting crack on front drivers body mount. (Not seen by MOT man) So I just had to have a little poke at it. :eek::eek::eek: Body mount fell apart. Well the side of it anyway. What to do now. Thought I'd clean the area ready for welding. Oh there's a small hole in the floor. If it needs welding I'll have to uplift the carpet anyway. OMG. I put my hand through the floor. But on closer inspection it was ok everywhere else. Now i really not sure what to do. Too late to buy a mount. so thought of fabricating one. Then cut hole out of floor over the mount. Cut away outer and inner sill taking away the mount. then welding everything back new. But do I want to do this because I want box section sills. Do I patch up to get it through MOT. or do I do the box section now and pay for yet another MOT.

:confused::confused::confused::confused::confused:

I'm underneath this car more than in it. All I wanna do is go Laning.

Tack it back get an mot and then sort it.

My conversation I want brake upgrade-so may as well do wheel bearings-but not enough time for show-so it has set of pads thrown in for now

Ya the man. First thing in morning. I'm on it.
Seen some big jobs being done on this site. Keeps me going knowing no matter how bad someones always got it worse.

What show you going to? Best to do full job when you got time. Havin said that. I't wasn't an upgrade but my rear caliper was dead. so I replaced all calipers disc pads and bearings. All new and only 40 mins a corner. But if upgrading is it a straight forward swap/
