Identity crisis

As the owner of a series 3 and a lightweight I was rather confused at this offering, the 'P' plate makes it only odder.

looks silly imho, whats with the front end?

does it really say 200di 12L engine, I didn't think they were that big

Do a DVLA query on the plate, and it says "Date of first reg, 3/12/75, Year of manufacture, 1967".

That does actually make some sense - back then, imports or stuff otherwise being newly registered (ex-military, f'rinstance) got then-current year letters, rather than age-related.

But 1961/1967? And as for how much of it (bar the identity) actually started off in 1967 - or even in close proximity to any of the other bits...

Six grand? You have to love his optimism.

an attempt at , you mean

2a lightweight front end,series 3 bulkhead,tub wheel arches cut to look like lightweight. A bitsa,would look ok to me but for all the external extras.
