Can anyone identify this part?

It's got something to do with the headlights.

Cheers.

No HID's. :D

It's a 200TDI defender 1990. It's got Wipac headlights.

Headlights are permanently on, unplugging this makes them go off, so I think it's broken.

PM'd GRUNT

Well if this is the part It's only £11 Mail Order 4x4 Defender Lamps

However I'm not sure I need it.

I just connected the battery put the ignition on and my lights now turn on and off. :D

Only 1 headlight comes on with high beam though, but I'm sure this part isn't actually needed.

certain people have bin know to buy these things when they dont need them ...... i am not one of those people .... ok

Aye I'd go along with everyone else, I'm that kind ov bloke. Anyhow it's the voltage reducer fer yer dip beam, when you put yer sidelights on it automaticly turns yer dip beam on at a reduced voltage. Mines never worked since I bought it. It was a marvelous idea these people that run the country had years ago then after a few months decided it want a good idea after all so you don't leegly need it.

is them yorkshire puddins cos they look like yorkshire puddins ..... fikkin lovely they are wiv gravey on .....mmmmmmm
