Why do you want to know - are you going to put it on the naughty step?

Just curious:)

so if im sat behind wheel wich side is pot 4 0n ????

If you're sitting in the drivers seat, pot 4 is on the RHS.

Right and Left are always stated from sitting in the drivers seat in RAVE.

When standing with the bonnet up looking at the engine, knees touching the front bumper, it's the second one back, but now on the side with the brake accumulator, the LHS (because you've turned round whilst walking to the front of the car).

NOT the side with the air compressor.

Mozz put your belly against the grille look into the engine bay. The bank of cylinders on your right front to back are 1,3,5,7 the bank of cylinders on your left front to back are 2,4,6,8. :);)

Watch the grille! If it is anything like mine it is ready to snap where the fastenings are at the slightest touch.

2,4,6,8 ... sounds like the beginning of a song.

Oh ok, but saying watch the grille as Mozzy followed my instructions sort of sounded that way. Knowing Mozz as i do you may like to included front slam panel in that warning. :D:D:D

Carbon plug leads are resistive. If they break down slightly, that coupled with the built in resistance in the plug can cause a yellow spark. Result misfire. Nearest i can get Mozzy sorry.

Ah, so No 4 is on the naughty step - do a comp test and then swap the leads/plugs around and see if the fault follows them.
