Hi
So I made the mistake of lending my TD4 commercial to my ex. (re old threads I started)
I was at the football on Saturday, at half time I looked at my phone and I saw 22 missed calls off her.
She was stuck on supermarket car park and couldn't get into the van.
Of course I waited until the final whistle to get down there.

Now my freelander only came with two keys no fob. I went home got the spare keys, some plus gas and a hammer to break window if necessary.

The key wouldn't turn in the lock barrel completely seized. The rear door has never opened off key when van is locked. Finally I got in (won't say how) got the van home and the next day I removed the barrel.

The actuator is still working just the barrel is seized.
So obviously I need a new barrel.

My question is will I be able to get a barrel from the dealer that fits my keys? Or will I have to have a separate key for the door because I'd rather have the door, ignition and tailgate and jack storage off the one key so if I need a barrel I think i would rather buy a set.

But would I then need ecu reprogram?

thanks for reading!
