I heard a bang???

hi peeps,i noticed today after driving for about 1 hour i reversed on a lock and heard a bang from the rear!it done it proberly another 2 times but later i was reversing on a lock a few times to see if it was still doing it and it was not doing it each time??? The drive to the rear is working fine because i done some offroading and found some mud and even drove it in a shallow river by us!lol (part of a track).I am still worried about the vcu probs and am in 2 minds whether to drop prop or just leave and stop worrying??...If there was a prob would it bang every time??i know 1 of the rear brakes sticks a little,has anyone got any ideas please????cheers also i checked the vcu when w got home and it was warm the same as my m8,s but mine does feel a bit tighter than his on lock but spose none are the same...

Check the VCU, but it is more likely to be rear diff mounts or cracked chassis/subframe attachment mounts.

cheers hat man,i did do the torque test and allthough tight it did move(my m8,s needed about the same to move) and ive done the tippex test?? just worried and still usure

whats the best way to check mounts??just visual? also can you give me some more info on where to check subframe bolts/cracked chassis e.t.c...do you not think its anything to do with the vcu then??cheers
