The seller does not know the year of the Defender or even what engine is in it! There is no V5 or Vin number! I wouldn't touch this LandRover with a 10 foot barge pole :doh: 288000 miles as well on an unknown engine

the id is in his other items on a lhd tdci it was on last week in the wtf ebay thread

Ah I must of been smoking AdolfManchesters batch then if I missed this in the search! :doh: I am going to go in the corner and rock back and forth for my stupidity

THERE IS NO V5 OR VIN NUMBER ON THIS CAR, WE HAVE USED THIS AS A BASIS FOR A RESTORATION AND THIS IS SOLD AS PARTS ONLY.
WE CAN PROVE OWNERSHIP AND WILL PROVIDE AND INVOICE, BUT YOU ARE BUYING A ROLLING DRIVEABLE (OFF ROAD) KIT OF PARTS.

Is there anyone else that is confused about how they can prove ownership on a vehicle with no VIN or Engine numbers?
