I have a leak. It smells like fuel, but it feels like oil. I noticed it the other day, but have only had the time today to take a look.
The off side chassis rail is wet, running from under the drivers position to just before the off side drive/axle/suspension. All of the components (pumps etc) are dry at engine height, with only the, what looks like 2 feeder pipes, leading from the chassis rail up, damp. These pipes are only damp half way up.
With a warm engine, she starts every time, but when left overnight, it takes a good few turn overs to get fuel to the start a fire up.
I have looked under the vehicle, but it is difficlt to see. With engine running she does not drop any fuel, and there is not mist in the engine bay. Only drops when the engine has been turn off.
Ideas, solutions, fix's, pointers please.
