nice looking truck - like you I looked at loads before taking the plunge - to be fair even some of the more tatty ones I looked at, with the help & advice on forums like this, wern't beyond saving.

Had mine 15 months now and, apart from some minor niggles (that some wouldn't even bother with) it's been perfect - best thing I've ever driven & with LPG only being 63p/ltr here, you get the V8 experience for diesel economy

enjoy it

60p a litre by me :) cant go wrong lol

That is a tidy one, I thought the one I plunged on looked good, you've done well, the last owner clearly showed that girl lots of love. So far my school bus has done good, only small issues to solve, had it getting on for a year now with the biggest expense being tyres (I killed them last winter). Although the MoT test is due next month, so underpants wetting moment.

You'll probably end up getting rovanoia before long, every cluck, thunk, sequel and rattle has me paranoid something is about to go wrong. A P38 as your only car is a mistake.

already have the rovanoia lol. just 1 or 2 things to sort out, tiny bit of play in n/s/f ball joint and bushes. get that done next week. and as usual, well, my usual, change the discs and pads to be safe. and a service of course :p

Where's your sense of adventure? Mine is my daily driver and I drive all over the country. But then people have always said I'm not right in the head.
Mine is my only vehicle after getting rid of everything else and I live in constant fear of something going wrong. But then I do get to drive around and feel smug that I aren't in a Prius. You can see in their eyes, they'd rather have a real vehicle and not a planet killing piece of crap.

Plus how many Prius owners do you know who get little boys to say "WOW!" when they drive past? None, that's how many. There is a nice level of enjoyment to know just by pulling away from traffic lights with WoT, you make some child's day a little bit better.

As a Range Rover driver, it is a service we provide. Because we're selfless like that.

We have group sessions every Wednesday behind the bakers. Tea, coffee and nibbleypibbles provided.

Good luck with your RR, but more importantly, have fun with her. :D

looks great dave well done i will pop round &catch up with you in a couple of days m8 and sort you some tyres this week if needed (think ive got a few that size in stock),your welcome to use my garage, tools & ramp anytime if your stuck dave,ps that looks a nice clean block paved drive for lying down on lol.......ENJOY .....you deserve atb will

Thanks guys!

took all the advice from here and put it into practice. couldnt get a 100%, but close enough. like you all say, none of them are perfect, they all have their niggles and little things that need attention. but soon enough i will have this the way it was, back to origonal. :)

AND! I have my LANDYZONE stickers in the windows now :)

Looking good, glad you found a tidy one, you know what they say, look after it and........ it will still bite u in the ass :D

wel thats true. on the road for less than a week and the idler pulley seized yesterday, melted the pulley and stripped the belt. replaced all the rollers, tensioner and belt this morning and working great again now. if you want a good deal on parts, give JLS a call in Willenhall. top lads and good prices. 01215687717 ask for Gareth or Ray. :) got all my parts for just over £120. OEM parts as well in stock.

Nice one Dave, glad you got a motor sorted, it looks great.

It will be good to have a local playmate & share experiences.

Looks similar to mine! I've had lots of problems but I think there great.

Happy motoring :beer2:

Hey, lay off Prius drivers a bit, don't tar all of us with the same brush!:p My Rangie and Prius get on just fine outside my house and always have, although I don't park them side by side as I'm suspicious about the Prius causing battery drain to the Rangie:D:D:D

SAS1810, thats a great looking motor, best of luck with it and savour every moment, after 5 years I still get a tingle everytime I get in to drive it (which is less often these days with the price of fuel the way it is)
