hybrid chassis question

due to the fact that its rotted to bits im having to replace the rear crossmember on my 200tdi D1 chassis

as ive now decided the rebuild is doomed due to rusted body including the roof
i intend to use the chassis and running gear for a hybrid

as im fitting a 110 rear tub can i use a 110 x member

and if i use one with extensions can i stretch the rear over hang slightly and leave the 110 tub a bit longer

will the extensions fit

ive seen a couple but theve either been shorteded or still 100" but have altered a disco x member

anyone any ideas

im figuring that for all the work ill have to put into it im as well building a top notch landie and im not really a disco fan(hence mi user name) i bought it for the wife on a whim to be honest
im looking at a couple of kits at the minute and reading up on a lad who done a hybrid with a rang rover floor and interior and a 109 body shell
ive got various bits o 110 including sides,roof and bonnet lying about
i plan to reasearch it between now and easter and decide what to do

ill keep on with removing the boot floor etc and start on the mechanicls for the next few weekends
