hi all, got great response here when had issue with remote blip reciever so thought I would try you all again with a new challange.

Have Disco II V8 with LPG, but problems are there running on either so assuming its nothing to do with LPG.

Car has been lacking power for a while and this also seems to confuse the autobox as it doesnt seem keen sometimes to change up to top until warn but I honestly think its the engine issue that has been causing this cause it will, just not when you expect (and often when you dont, but we all know they are a bit dim witted these boxes sometimes).

Got laptop diagnostics so have got rake of codes coming back and some not etc, also got live values, so hoping people can help.

I have cleared codes and what not several times, but these have all made an appearance, some all the time, some just once or twice. I might add my engine management light oin the dash has not once lit up, even when the thing will hardly rev up.

I changed the spark plugs, and also reattached the plenum intake as it had come loose. This I thought would defo sort it, especially the intake as its after the MAF, but unbelievably it made no real difference.

1st Set codes:

2nd time plugged in:

and some O2 sensor outputs name describes (according to name):

I also have some live date values:
MAF at idle seems to jump about a bit, but as it warms it settles to 6-7 g/s at idle, closer to 9 g/s when cold (denser air?)
at 2800rpm MAF reads 18-25 g/s

Lambda 1: 0.05 to 0.827, average 0.45v
Lambda 2: 0.11 to 0.8455, average 0.48

Short Term Fuel Trim Banks 1: 8.59 to 16.01, average 12.4
Long Terms Bank 1: just says -25 for all values

Short Term Fuel Trim Bank 2: 7.03 to 14.4115, average 10.5
Long term -25 all values

Advance at idle 12.4 degrees

Intake Temp: 14
Coolant 76, these temps go with the above values

So what do people think, the plugs that came out recently, didnt seem to be too badly fouled and the new plugs didnt make much difference. I thought the intake manifold intake hose from MAF leaking would defo be the problem (unmetered air) but it hasnt really made any difference.

I am not 100% with O2 traces but they seem to be doing the normal cycling between rich and lean when on closed loop. To be honest it only really stays closed look like this at idle, otherwise seems to indicate on diagnostics that it goes open loop (assume this is from map im ECU).

So, Iam thinking this looks like the MAF (its my suspect) but not sure of what value U should be getting etc, so some generally help with diagnosing all this would be much appreciated. any further info required let us know. The missus was using it tonight and said she was smelling petrol (very rich runniung perhaps) Has anybody had any joy cleaning MAF or any other pointer much appreciated, thanks all

Had similar problem on duel fuel RR auto and it was the MAF, 3 times over as many years I changed the MAF that’s what finally lead to me selling the vehicle.
