when i brought the vehicle there was no service history ,i have reciepts for what i have spent on it,the engine was in it when brought it.the diff lock works in high and low ,to be honest i would keep this landy but he as just got a defender 110 so we can not do both.he want 3000 for it and it well worth it as we have seen loads that are a shed for more thanks sue
, shes now asked where would i be thinking ie if he drove it half way , so il discuss...
i think if he would be willing to drive it 2 hours towards me confident in me handing over the cash, then id be willing to travel

hmmm brum is interesting !!! ive had a look and a single cheap return from here to telford can be had for £32 half price at certain times, norm £70, could jsut give him the ticket to continue and get home
but...what if its not as he says, id be f**ked, £60 odd to get home, totaly gutted and tired etc
notice telford to brum is 50 odd miles, wonder if hed drive it brum to be inspected
also , oxford- is 2 hrs 100 miles from telford, and around same from where i am, ive put that to them and see what they say

Oxford is about halfway, if he's willing to do that i'd be amazed/surprised...i'd either have a mate with me or have an lz member there..especially if he knows you've got 3k in your pocket...

i would too to be honest, but if you dont ask.. , and pricing it at 3k is sensible,and if hes skint etc and really wants a cash sale he might... , but yes if oxford id have a mate with me and get a mate to drive me there rather than train it, and if an lz member is around and could look it over then that would be amazing !
see what they say, but dont expect them to go for it, but see where they may suggest they would be willing..

ive been a member on here for a year or so and owned a discovery and posts due to that, seems a lot of negativity on this board and in helping newbies out, everyone was new to defenders at some point and we all need help and advice at times
at least im trying to do some homework and take my time and find out about them, rather than just rushing off and buying any old one , give me a break

, really appriciate the offer, if anything it will be monday/tues, as im working early tomorrow and sunday so its a defo no the weekend, im still awaiting a reply on what he suggests, he said no to oxford, £70 to brum then to telford, then a fuel cost to get home, and a night off work, winds up to near £300 extra all in all, which realisticly is probably a no go on such a gamble
