This kit 2 of the strobes fit in perfectly on the bottom half of grill, with no mods just 2 drill holes thats self explanitary ,

For the top 2 strobes cut out 2 edge parts on grill use a roazor to smooth down!

Then to make them fit have to move bracket to as shown, then you will need to bend the bracket like ... ImageUploadedByTapatalk1340976068.769933.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1340976085.061368.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1340976099.541647.jpg

Then put nuts n bolts through, best to use as small, and black as possible lol, so they blend in with grill

Now for the harder part the wireing and where to place the controls to be added soon, will finish off now

ImageUploadedByTapatalk1340984001.875659.jpgCut all wires , save some wire on the connectors as they will be needed! then strip wires down, you need to add 2-2.5m of wire depending on where you want to put the control box

I would choose to solder over crimp
ImageUploadedByTapatalk1340984121.186068.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1340984141.175692.jpgfeed wires into the cabImageUploadedByTapatalk1340984167.851129.jpg
I had the clock out anyways, then i decided to use coin tray as its usless any way to hold te controller so had to feed the wires over heater controls
ImageUploadedByTapatalk1340984234.818253.jpg
I found it easier to take the stereo out, gives better access ImageUploadedByTapatalk1340984290.891620.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1340984304.458910.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1340984316.270688.jpg

ImageUploadedByTapatalk1340984369.062682.jpg put coin tray back in (wasnt pushed in all way in pic as i wanted to test was all working first) ImageUploadedByTapatalk1340984415.044118.jpg
Connect power and earth , i did straight from battery, and used a fuse, up to you if you want on ignition or notImageUploadedByTapatalk1340984466.961158.jpg
All working , want to tidy up front of coin tray/controller abit, may cut a face out of plastic, will put some pictures up tonight of the lights in action, they wont be seen over my spots though haha

If any one has any questions feel free to ask.

This took about 4/5 hours to do including working out where to cut grill, a trip to halfords for more wire (cost as much as the strobes !! )

Ps when i tidy the tray up will post how to do that to :)

yeah so theres no harm in having them.... i basically just want them for when it snows , and they are cheap but they work so cant complain

Actually if an arsey plod see's em. you'll be the perfect target for having ya vehicle seized or a fixed penalty ticket.. Cos they are illegal. the flash pattern and speed doesn't match C&U regs..

You are aloud to have them, if they dont meet the regs, just means they are for offroad use only, you can have a siren on ya car, you can have a flame thrower out the exhaust all perfectly legal to have fitted and wired in mate

I had similar ones fitted to my VW Recovery truck grill & wasnt impressed at all with them,

I will be getting some proper ones for my Freelander eventually, Just ordered my LED Lightbar for the roof.

Install looks nice & tidy
