You are aloud to have them, if they dont meet the regs, just means they are for offroad use only, you can have a siren on ya car, you can have a flame thrower out the exhaust all perfectly legal to have fitted and wired in mate

Yu sir are a number one twaaat If the vehicle is on a public highway. inc greenlanes.. anything fitted to the vehicle must be legally allowed on that vehicle..

A siren may not be fitted to any vehicle other than an approved user service's vehicle. ie police fire ambulance.

a flame thrower is an offensive weapon and possession of one without good cause is an offence.

Fitted some of these to works vans for when escorting static caravans. The quality seems **** but seem to work well enough for now. The wiring as standard is ridiculously short though, and being LED you need to be careful how you position them to get the angle right

Has anyone got a wiring diagram to fit a flame thrower to a 300tdi Disco please.

s'easy ...

1. Tow 1 Freelander

2. Throw petrol out the window

3. Set light to Freelander.

4. Continue towing at great speed with gay and reckless abandon. ;)

how do you know i dont use it for any of the purposes (i dont ) but anyway im not gonna argue it , if when i come to my MOT i have any problems , i will come on here and wright you a full 37page apology , and explain how wrong i was and how right you are?

The unlawful use of amber lights is one of the reasons that nobody takes a blind bit of notice of em any more and therefore jeopardises the life of all those legally entitled to use them.:mad::mad::mad:

If you use them off road its fine, but if you get seen on the road with them on you would get feck over to the level that you deserve

No.

If you put a piece of blue pipe on the roof of yer car to make it look like a blue light it is the same offence. Why do you think St Johns ambulance have to lock covers over their blue lights when not on emergency duties?
