Can someone explain in english terms how to check the set up of the Potentiometer ?

I've been told that I need to get a Voltmeter which can do Milivolts then put the positive between the Red and Green wires(You can't this is impossible due to the three wire connector has a large barrier type bit of plastic between then around a millimeter anyhow that's large in these terms)

Do I need to take that three way connector appart or not. I have a voltmeter which does 20mv 1000mv what should the reading be ? I've set mine up on 200mv reading 280-290-300 it fluctuates this was done on the red wire connector green just gave 1.3 and yellow nothing so I guess it's the earth.

I'm positive that someone who likes electrics will shed light on it (I don't)

If your voltmeter has needle-tip probes, you can stick them in from where the wire enter the rear of the connector. The connector is flexible enough to allow you to push the probes in until they make contact.

I don't remember the value of the readings you should get, I can check if you don't have them.

I got a final solution for all my injection tuning and electronic headaches (we've got a couple of issues with fuel quality and spare parts availability here, as well as with mechanics in general...). Just pulled out the whole friggin' system, wires, boxes and all... Am reinstalling the engine with a carb.
