hey guys. am going to change my battery as suggested in a previous thread but i would like to change the connectors while i am on. as both the bolts are seized and can come of while driving. but i am not sure how to do this as i can see any bolts holding the cables to the connector.

Stock battery connectors are usually crimped onto the cables but you can get ones with screw terminals to replace them if you don't happen to have a set of crimpers.

Thats because they are crimped, replacement-DIY battery connectors are available that screw onto the core of the cable or purchase the crimped style and find some one that has the crimping-tool to handle that size of cable and crimp.

cant you cut the bolts on the existing connectors with a hacksaw and just replace the bolts? should be either an m6 (diameter) with 10mm (spanner size). nuts or m8 with 13 mm nuts

otherwise use the hacksaw to cut off the connectors , halfords will have ones with screws in.
