How much would you expect to sell a no start Freelander V6?

I was wondering if I could ask for some advice on how much to offer for my Freelander 2, 2001 V6?

It had a head gasket problem due to overheating and the engine now won't start.

Everything else was in perfect working order.

Many thanks in advance for any advice.

Harsh but true.
It's scrap. No one would buy it for any more than scrap / spares value.

They're right! As a 12 year old non-runner, it's only worth what someone would be prepared to pay, which would probably be very little!

However, it is always very remotely possible that someone on here might be not too far away from you and be able to get it going again ... even though it is a gaylander

Might help a bit if you said where you are ...

It's in Benson, Wallingford, Oxfordshire.

Thanks for your feedback though (even cheeky ones) - I really didn't know it's value.

You could try ebay , set a reserve , so you dont get robbed , you might be surprised what you get . say a reserve of £1000 see what it gets to , you can adjust the reserve the next time you list it , depending on how much , or how quick you need to move it HTSH .

as a non-runner its worth scrap, break it and sell the parts and you could make a tidy sum.
