Thats the price you pay for living in Kent, I have the same problem in Maidstone, although not LPG but derv for my RR is @ £1.25 per Litre.
I think I know that filling station your on about, wouldn't be the one on the main drag from the docks on the right going towards Folkestone?? They have always been expensive.
I fill in London South East on way to work. Derv £1.18 per litre, LPG approx 63.9 Per Litre.

Yeah it is, and the new one on the way to Ashford on the M20 is no better!

Watford Dome 63p (Sold Out). Watford Sainsburys 64p (Pump gone from forecourt, don't know whats going on there) BP Rickmansworth 70p (Pump not working!!) Thats standard for around here, not the cheapeat, not the dearest but often can't get the stuff at all!!! Luckily we have a local boat yard that sells it for 67p, but the opening hours are a not 24/7

Some pretty cheap prices above compared to what we're paying in Kent.. :( I find that once it goes above 70ish ppl, with all things considered I'm better off just running on petrol instead

my god some of the prices being charged especially in the South is dearer than i paid on the motorway recently when i went to Hull. ( 69.9P) which you come to expect for a motorway.

Jesus times change, everybody saying 10p a litre is a big difference. I remember going off the motorway at Bristol to fill up when the services were charging 97p per gallon for petrol against 75p per gallon just off it. And that is not really so long ago, mid/late seventies.

In fairness though wammers 10p a litre = 45p a gallon. When you've got a rangie that averages about 14mpg, thats a saving worth searching for.

Petrolprices.com will show you the cheapest price within 25 miles of any postcode.
You can't change how much you are being ripped off, and some area's are worse than others, but you can save a few quid over time if you are heading that way.

Yes i agree, was just saying how things have changed in what is not really a long timespan.

As you say times r a changin. I've been filling up motors for nigh on 30 years and its only in the last couple I've even looked at the price on the board. Just used to fill up at any one I was passing. Whilst I don't go out of my way looking for the cheapest (not worth it at 14mpg!!) I know where the cheapest one's are round here:)

14 mpg..........if only lol. Filled up again yesterday, did my maths (again) and yup, shes still only doing 8 mpg on the school run although that is a lot of sitting about, playing in snow and the actual driving in between so technically its probably not as bad as I'm making out.
