How Much Is It Worth???

HI,

Looking at selling my RR 2.5DSE T plate 99' and wandered how much its worth.

Full leather interior cream
everything in good working order i.e cruise windows, EAS
Heated screens
160,000miles full dealer service history with stamped service books
6 cd changer
16" alloys with legal tyres bout 4mm
Runs lovelly now all wheels balanced
Having new windscreen fitted next week

Had a look on here and ebay and auto trader with prices ranging so much i was thinking around the £3800 - £4000 mark am i way out here or close to the ball park?

Help and advice is much appreciated

I paid £4k for my 2000 reg with 151k miles.

Parkers reckoned a good one (which I think it is depsite a few niggling problems I'm sorting) on this sort of mileage was worth £4,800 but guess it depends what someone will pay.

You'll probably find some a lot cheaper than this but if you're happy that it's sound and you've got rid of any faults then should be able to push for a higher price.

i paid £2500 for my W reg 4.0 county 3 weeks later engine rebuild you get what you pay for i paid **** and got **** lol

Well im puttin her up for £4200o.n.o and see what happens as theres no niglling faults full dealer service history and is in good nick to so here it goes and lets see what happens

I paid £3,500 for my late '98 4.6 HSE with 75k miles and full mot and 6 months tax with full dealer service history. Fair enough, your will be a year younger, but it's got a higher milage, even thought it's a diesel, mileage still counts. I'd say between between 3,800 and 4,200. You're not being unreasonable imho.

Aint it weird people go to the time and effort to build a useful forum so people can give and gain advice yet all people like giving is pi** taking not much advice at all

Until recently the banner on this forum carried the phrase "One Laugh Have It".. It was designed by The founders to be a welcome relief from all the strait laced "go off topic & your banned" forums that are out there in their hundreds. If you want a serious no **** takes allowed forum. There are plenty to choose from, I'm sure they'll make you very welcome. As long as all you want to talk about meets with the approval of the mods. So instead of wasting your time trying to make this forum change the way it's been run since day 1. Take your posts and your snide comments somewhere they'll be appreciated.

you get the best of both worlds on here...
advice and ****-taking! thats what its all about on here and i love the **** taking part as well as the GREAT advice you'll get too..just take it with a pinch of salt or you'll get burned on the stake lol

i agree, life gets very boring if we cant have a laugh!!! if this forum is not to your taste then there are others!!! this place is about taking the **** from ourselves and others. there are plenty of people on here with a sense of humour AND a good knowledge of thier cars!!!

is this reasonable wen all i asked is how much is it worth or wouldnt it be better just to say look a bit high cos etc etc

the comment was not mant to be snyde but all i was asking was for some advice

It's also one of 3 forums I've been on where you can tell a Moderator to go and fook himself cause he's a stuck up little cuunt. AND not get banned..

Am I taking the ****? No, I'm comparing it to mine. You have to compare yours to others to see what you'll be able to get for it, not what you WANT for it. When I bought mine it was up for £4,400. Be prepared to be knocked down.

whats unreasonable about it, we are owners not dealers and many can only speak from thier experience. no one here works for any company like parker's etc as far as i'm aware. as said before its only opinions. you dont have to sell it for anything anyone suggests! thats the beauty of it!!!

seriously if you dont like it, go and ask somewhere else!!! if you need your ego massaging it wont happen here!!!
