How much for recon gearbox fit?

Been putting it off for a while but had enough of the 2nd gear trouble so want to have a reconditioned box fitted with clutch obviously at same time. I know ashcrofts are £1250 or around that mark, is there anywhere cheaper in the kent area? 200tdi

recon lt77 £375 fitting £220,borg and beck clutch kit £60 3 piece would be reasonable,but dont know about kent

Agreed - fitting about 200 - 250 quid. Consider a heavy duty clutch kit which will be tougher and last longer.

Cheers, will do. After the effort I've just exerted changing the a frame ball joint, I'd be quite happy to pay someone for that job
