How much for a new RR engine ?

Can this chap really be serious about the new engine cost ?

Down the road from me - wonder if I should pay a visit !!

i personally think this is one of many scams, there is the mention of africa, the many spelling mistakes. there is no way it was owned by the director of landrover as it would be better equiped in the goodies section!! i know if i was top brass at LR i would have every concievable extra, sat nav and tv's!!!

i may be wrong tho!! go have a look at it and let us all know. its on the insurance database so its not been stood long if at all. its also taxed as it says til the end of june so it might be legit!

Not to mention the vague "2-3yrs ago" estimate to the replacement engine, are the bills not dated? I can tell you that June 2007 saw a new head gasket in my wifes car, (that was £48 by the way). I don't trust anything on Ebay, take it as a complete shed and be surprised by it's good points. The whole ad looks dodgy in my opinion. However, if you are confident about it... I have a 98 Vectra 2.0, previously owned by Mick Jagger and the queen. Also, it had a new rose bush (£2995) some time in the past and I have some fuel reciepts and a couple of old tax discs. Offers in the region of £7200 accepted.

7K, its not even been used by the manager of scams r us! and werent you shipping it to timbuktu (thats between timbukone and timbukthree if ya didnt know) but the inspector of gangleholms didnt want you to because his cat would be frightened by the exhaust note and charge you 17,000 lumars to park it on his island?

Nah this is safe, It has a CAT converter to make it amiable!
