Engine disabled. New to this

Hello everyone. I'm Steve. I'm. New to the group. And land rovers. I brought a 1996 range rover dse 2.5.love the car. Got a new low mileage engine put in along with standard new intercooler and auto cooler to put back how it should after previous owner butchered it. Cars now as I want and runs great. Problem is. Today I went out there. And it's disabled. I can't get the eka to work because the rear doors are superlocked but the micro switch in one is gone. Basically is there anyone around Southampton with nanocom that can get it up and running for me so I can sort the locks? Thanks

If only the rear doors are superlocked, you should be able to unlock with key and enter eka or if you can get the front door open, replace the latch then it's fixed for future.
Also, if you want to keep it, buy a nanocom, you will need it more than you think!

Yes that's what I thought only I'm. In the middle of moving house and a nanocom is an expense I could do without for a few weeks. I was hoping someone close to Southampton could help me unlock it for the time being

If you find someone with a Nanocom, get the Immobiliser and EKA turned off in the BECM, it will save you a lot of trouble, the car can then be operated with just a key and no FOB if necessary.

Mine had gone into lockdown after the rear left door mec had jammed in the superlock position. I removed the door card and jumped the lock with a lawnmower battery. I then took it apart and twiddled some and now it doesn't superlock anymore but will lock normally on that door.

If the car thinks the system has been compromised, i.e all locks not In the same position, locked or unlocked. It throws a fit and the immobilizer kicks in. I had to remove the door card with the bugger shut tight and slowly gain access. Then I triggered the door lock. The trick is finding the coloured wires that will undo the superlock. It's been three years since I did it ....

Just take your time between the house removals and try not to break anything. Use the other opening door to guide your process as to how to remove the door card. Sh8t job mate..
