Mine is nice spec so I assume they were factory fitted. 98 DSE
Cobar Blue was offered on the 1998 Limited Edition model, the dHSE, this is based on the HSE model from 1998 aside from no fog lamps (as it is a diesel) and oddly no mudflaps either!
600 examples were made of the dHSE which came in colours: Cobar Blue, Epsom Green, Niagra Grey, Oxford Blue, Riola Red and White Gold.
Body coloured bumpers, mirrors and sills.
All colours except White Gold had a single cream coach line and fitted with 16" Stratos Alloys with the wider HSE spec 255 tyres.
Electric Seats but no memory, all were autos, Harman Karden ICE, auto-dimming mirror.
Lightstone Leather with contrasting piping...on the Cobar Blue it was Atlantic Blue.
List Price of £47,075 was £3,400 less than the 4.6 HSE at the time.
Really very interesting, apart from mine is a 4.6 HSE and on a 99 with a thor engine later spec interior but early spec head lamps. Was 624 not a standard colour choice then? It also has Triple sports fitted but I believe they were dealer options rather than factory option.
Quavey my 98 DSE is in Cobar Blue. Looks more green to me though
You weren't in Sheffield just after Christmas were you!?
Yeah it is a funny colour, I rather like it and I will miss it when she goes
Oh, I forgot you didn't I, another one of the old git's club. Now there's a thought, grumpy old barstewards club, does it have wings ?I second that!!
20k on the clock? Wow, that is a time warp and a half. Must be immaculate condition.Hi there, I too own a P38 in COBAR BLUE. It's a 1998, 4.00 ltr, SE with just approaching 20k on the clock.
I've owned ( & enjoyed for well over 30 years ) every model apart from a series 1 Land Rover.
Always promised myself a nice P38 & after trampin' around & gettin' very dissapointed, got reccommended to the guy that supplied this one. Since retiring, I have taken on the role of YORKS REP for the RANGE ROVER REGISTER so if anybody out there needs any advice on joining this friendly club ( UK WIDE ), get in touch, only too glad to help.
Regards, STEVE

Would anyone know how rare mine is in Cobar blue? 624. I've only ever seen one other and the odd discovery.
Auto Desels never had them factory fitted.
And as far as I know only a handful of the Manuals had them fitted as an option...but were never fitted standard to the DT range (1995 Manuals were called DSE until 1996 MY came out)
