How do I check service history?

Hi everyone, just picked up my very first RR (2002 3.0L HSE). Absolutely thrilled - have wanted one for ages and saw this and, after a quick check, bought on impulse (as you do!!).

Unfortunately no service book. How do I trace its history and any recalls done or required (such as the infamous front diff??)

ring up the dealer and they can tell you all the service history which has been done at the dealer and if the recalls have been done or not.

you can check the mot records on vosa website. its not the full history but will give you an idea if all else fails!

The easiest way to check if the front diff./propshaft has been upgraded is to set the suspension on its highest setting & use a mirror to look underneath (see photo)

If the previous owner happened to be a leasing company, they will, if you write to them, almost certainly provide you with a computer printout of the vehicles service history.

How do I check service history?
