Hot Start

Hi,

Can anyone recomend a hot start gizmo for a 2.5DSE on a 97 plate.

Lots on ebay but what is the best option

Having done a search it appears the cheapest option is to use a 555 timer circuit. Anyone have the wiring diagram so I can make one and where to connect ?

The true answer is to get the pump retimed (£250ish)

But the circuit is quite as simple as just a timer - it needs a resistor in there too to mimic a cold temp sensor....

Look on the bay for the Hot Start Fix with a timed circuit - not just a relay....

I couldn't tell you which one to go for - as I never had the problem on my DSE (Pump was retimed before I got it apparently - I then Part-Ex'd 7 months later for the L322)
