Hello,

I have 4.6 HSE and over the last few days I noticed the passenger side heater blowing cold not being able to turn it up or down. The drivers side works fine as it should. I have checked the directional blower buttons and they work fine so I can almost definately say its the passenger side blend motor after a previous thread from you fine people.

I have been out today and both passenger and drivers side heater have now started to blow hot. I was unable to turn the heat up or down on both sides. The directional buttons still worked as they should.

I tried switching the temperature up and down as previously advised to try and clear the fault but this did not make a difference.

I then remembered what a previous landy zone fine chap said about turning the key off and on very quickly several times but not making the engine start.

I did this and to my amazement the drivers side temperature then worked fine again as it should and the passenger side now blows warm instead of cold. I am still however unable to turn the passenger side temp up and down.

At first the book on the unit did not come up but after a few secounds it returned.

Is there anyone out there who can put there finger on what exactly this could be. Could it still be the blend motor, a loose connection or anything else!!!!!!!

Any ideas please help.
:)

Id put my shirt on dodgy/sticking blend motor or flap or both. Get either a main stealer to run TestBook on the HEVAC or an independant who has Rovacom, Rovacomlite or Autologic
Where are you located? I may be able to give you details of local Rovacomlite owners who may be able to help with the diagnostics.
