Hose Intake to Air Cleaner

Guys does anyone have a picture of the Hose Intake to Air Cleaner (part number ESR184 RHD) picture. Somehow when I got a def 200tdi, this hose is missing. Is it ok if I can just use the air cleaner with out this hose? The Landy is a Def 110 with a def 200tdi engine.

No its a RHD. Can I use the air cleaner without the inlet hose? Does this by any chance get connected to the heater box?

It doesn't connect to the heater box mate, it goes to the vent on the side of yer wing.

Mine does not have a vent on the left side wing as my landy was a 1990 2.5na and I changed the engine to a def 200tdi. I have the elbow ESR228 connected to the air cleaner box.Can I just leave it open with the elbow with out the hose?

Mine is missing pipe and elbow at moment, problem is airfilter keeps getting clogged up with crud and water.

All the pipe does is get cleaner, cooler air into the air filter .. if you leave it off you're going to get warmer, probably dirtier air from the engine bay in so the air filter will work more and clog up quicker. Shouldn't hurt the engine much, if at all .. just make sure the air filter is in good shape and pipes/connections from it to the engine are good.

Dunno the 200 well but can you turn the filter so the inlet is raised and takes in cooler, cleaner air?
