A certain amount of oil is the norm unfortunately. As long as there isn't a massive amount.
As above, it looks like water - which is possible due to condensation inside the intercooler - are you doing only short journeys?
Oil is normal and intended - the old style turbos have a seal on the end of the shaft to prevent any oil egress, the trouble is that carbon builds up against the seal and progressively prevents lubrication. More modern turbos allow some 'weepage' so that the whole turbo spindle remains lubricated.

My wifes audi 3.0 v6 always has a puddle of oil in the same place as your lr 3.0, her previous 3.0 was the same, and the one before that to, so it if it not using oil then do not worry.
Think my 2.7 is also a sweaty betty in the same place.

Thanks for the reply. It was in a garage the week before Christmas and got that cooling fan replaced due to leaking ( It looks like the mechanic never washed around the oil cooler) could be the old water but the water level does not drop now and the oil level does topping up a litre a week. It be’s driven around a 100 miles a week. It seems to be very wet with oil under the throttle body and inside of it could the oil be puddling inside the throttle body and then leaks through and the old water that was there just made it look worse? Thanks
1 litre of oil in 100 miles needs further investigation. Any leaks around the charge air system need sorting, if oil can leak, then so can pressurised air. Whatever the amount of oil consumed internally, (and yours is high!) it should not reach the outside.
I would say 1 litre of oil per 100 miles is excessive and then some.
Iirc some car makers reckoned 1 litre of oil per 1000 miles was okay.
