Hello,

I've just bought my self a nice tin of that really good black waxoyl and a pump handled sprayer with a long nozzle from the garden centre. Seems to work alright, but it comes out a bit blotchy and in clumps. I've left it for a while and it's started to smoothen its self out, but how long does it take to fully cure? I'm running down the motorway tomorrow for 4 hours and I don't want to spray it all on if its just going to run straight off! I've only done a little test section at the back by the way

Cheers

Don't worry about it Pos.

By the time it is fully cured you will want to be applyting the next coat cos it'll have started flaking off.

It mainly protects the chassis from rusting on the inside so as long as you filled all the holes with it you'll be fine. Just drive it.

Yeah. I sat the tin in a bucket for 15 mins first (it says 30 but I'm impatient). I will leave the whole pump canister in a bucket of warm water next time. Looks like it will work quite well though.

I added a little white spirit, and you're certainly right about water! I spilt a little bit on my Mum and Dads patio which I've been trying to scrub off all afternoon. I'm going to get my balls cut off when they get home! Not even swarfega, white spirit and scrubbing salts are shifting it. Uh-oh.
