home made snorkle numpty question!

toying with the idea of making a snorkle
i bought a southdown wing mount from ebay thinking it would have some sort of pipe work attached to the inside of it, Eeer nope fook all
so the pipe work i have is 2 1/2" an i was wonderin could i use 2" inner pipe work to give a neat finish inside the 2 1/2" inch pipe or would that be to narrow an cause air intake reduction?

any idea's folks? i'm sure 1/2" won't make that much difference will it?

ya right the half inch will make fook all difference, have you seen the air intake on a 200tdi disco?

Plenty bits of plastic pipe in scrappys on cars. Bends,flexis,reducers,flat bits, etc..just couple em up to a piece of drainpipe and find a top

didn't think half inch would matter but wanted an opinion first

an i've never seen a 200tdi air intake but would imagine it must be narrow

will do a seach to see if i can find one

Not to bad buster be glad when xmas is out of the way. Not bar humbug but mi dad died not ong ago and realy not in the mood for celibrations
