High/low Range Lever

Hi all, I have a 110 defender 300tdi, the high / low range lever has come loose, it still works but i am able to pull the lever up and out of its socket! how do i fix this please?

You will need to take the cover off the transmission tunnel, remove the steel tunnel section and then you will be able to get in at everything.

Its not difficult, its about 8 screws and it will lift off. You will be able to see all the workings of the lever and see whats come loose.

The whole hi/low/diff shifter linkages come off the transfer box they are not directly attached, it just sits there and all the moving parts come out the sides etc.
