Hi there, I'm looking for a 110 Defender(1984)

Hello I'm Jean From the Netherlands,

Since my Friend has a Defender I getted verry Enthausiastic about driving in the Mudd (where My Volvo V70 looks very ugly and would not go in)
So i have decided to look for a Defender 110 diesel (7-seater or more) because we have big Family.
The only Defender we can Buy is one who is Builded in 1984 0r 1985 because it's an Oldtimer so we don't have to pay Roadtax (wich is very High in the Netherlands)
I just saw this Landroversite and I thought try and wait maybe someone knows were I could buy an good car.
Please contact me if you know a nice 110 for us.

Why it's only a couple of hrs on the ferry and yu could be back on the return ferry by nightfall. gotta be cheaper than buying a 110 in Holland or anywhere else on the continent.

german chap had my old ex army 109 ffr 24v fly over from Munich to Brum for 25 quid and then drove it back,probly sold it on for a good profit anurl

i sold a classic RR to a guy from holland, he drove all the way in a RR sport and struggled to pull mine away.. he said how valuable it was back home?

Ermm..yes! Im picking my V8 up this weekend..be about number 30 ive bought, obviously sold the other 29...the price for a good landy is at least three times as much in denmark than the UK...so well worth the effort...

hehe...it was...but with a population of 5 million theres only a certain number of right hand drives you can sell..anyone who can do the conversion to lhd is welcome to contact me though!

fair dos, i am eyeing up the US market actually. they seem rather keen to spend silly money on the early 110's

ok dude, so you want an early 110. thats a little vague

in short, yes the UK does have "your car". a land rover in almost every guise built is found in the UK, and there are bloody loads for sale.
