Hi-lift jack mounting?

Hi just got a genuine hi lift jack 48"

Just thought i'd ask for some advice about where to mount it in/on the disco - cheers

Yep had a look at that on here earlier when i did a search.
Did see a jack mounted inside the rear door of a disco looked quite good and secure.

Pics of different mounting positions would be great!!!

Thanks for the pic - that looks a good idea!
Would rather have the jack inside the disco so its not too obvious to the local magpies

where did you end up putting the jack mate,i just got one, does fit in boot but just and would probably thump around when offroad..dont think the kids would be happy with it at there feet either if in front of rear seats.

I got the 48" cast (heavy duty) hi lift jack and it lives behind the front seats - still need to get mounts for it though! Might mount it on the inside of the rear door on the chequer plate panel

I Have got mine mounted on the rear O/S roof just above the gutter, its foot plate in line with the back door. it looks good and is easy to get hold of.
