hi everyone

recently purchased a 4.6 hse range rover, unfortunately the honeymoon is over and the engines rough. started off with water leak. cured that now is chuffing like a train and smoke is coming out of right bank if your sat behind the wheel. in a dilema, do i repair or sell and lose a fortune.

any help appreciated....great site...

Sorry to hear about the probs mate. That is a tough choice you have. You say you will lose a fortune if you sell it, but theses were never the most reliable of vehicles in the first place. You could end up paying a fortune getting it repaired, and then have it blow up again in a year or so. If I were you, I would sell it. A TD5 Disco 2 would give you near range rover comfort, but far better reliability, apart from occasional rear air spring probs.
