I have a 109" 1970 station wagon. I've just swapped its diesel engine for a 2.5 ltr petrol but I'm having fuel flooding problems. Apparently, there is a small restrictor (part no. ETC6243) in the fuel line between the vapour separator and the carburettor. This restrictor is only about 6-7mm diameter with a small hole in it. I can't find a stockist of this restrictor but do you have one or can you tell me the size of the hole in it please? Thanks.
Regards - Seaboy
PS Oops, should have put my question in the Technical section, sorry about that, just getting to find my way around.

Seems plenty in stock, dimmers, craddocks, famous four, try fittin a washer with a small hole in the pipe Union, to calm down the flow of fuel!

Hi Freelance,
Many thanks for supplier suggestions - Craddocks don't have any, Famous Four can order from Land Rover but cost c£17.50 plus VAT! Land Rover Direct can order one for £18.60 plus VAT! Silly money for a small plug with a hole in it. Sorry, I'm not familiar with Dimmers? I've tried six other suppliers but no luck. However, thanks for washer idea. I've now made up a restrictor from 1/4" diameter x 1/4 long brass rod and drilled a small hole through it. Hope this will help when I've finished piping in the electric pump. Thanks for your help.
Seaboy.

Thanks Freelance for interest - tried Rimmers but they can't supply one either. But I've made one now, just got to get the hole size right, it looks around 2mm diameter in the parts book. I know, not perhaps a reliable reference but I need to start somewhere :)

The 110 I had the 2.5l engine from didn't have one fitted. Not thought of a breakers, thanks for this Flat, I'll have a scout around. Regards, Seaboy
