There is a small restrictor (part no. ETC6243) in the fuel line between the vapour separator and the Weber carb on a 110 2.5l petrol. Do you have one of these or can you tell me how big the hole is in it please? (The restrictor from the parts book only looks about 6mm dia x 6mm long with a small hole through it and it just sits in the feed pipe.) Thanks for any help. Regards, Seaboy

How's your homemade one coming on? or is that why the question...............? I'd just start at say 1mm and try it, - if you've got enough brass rod make a set 1mm, 2mm etc. then you can change on the side of the road! good luck

Hi Waldamar,
I've made a restrictor with a 1.5mm hole in it to start with. Good idea to make another with a bigger hole to swap, thanks for this idea. Regards, Seaboy

No problem, IIRC years ago there was a carb specialist/spares business in Southend but sounds like you're getting sorted anyway - all you're aiming for is enough restriction to stop flooding but not too much so as to avoid starve - trial and error will get you there................. good luck
