Hi Everyone,
Just got myself a Range Rover V8 4.6 with LPG a few days ago, she is in good condition'ish. some minor tweak needed in places, but she runs and drives very well.

This is a bit of a project for me. This is what I intend doing.
1. Replace all the bushes
2. New battery - Bosch 069
3. New air intake box
4. Replace track rod ends
5. Replace shocks with Bilstein or Koni
6, Replace spare wheel well, some rust from a leaking seal or condensation from LPG take
7. Upgrade/downgrade LPG take to a donut version, currently have a 100L in the boot space.
8. Fix sunroof & rear wiper motor.

That all folks.
Help and advise would be greatly appreciated.

Hi all
Update to my Range Rover P38 (Gems) 1997. First off i have found this forum very useful and educational. As this is the first P38 i've owned.
Phase One Commented:
1. Battery replaced with an Enduroline 089
2. HT leads replaced with Magnicor MAG-8019
3. Spark Plugs replaced with NGK BPR6ES (0.9mm gap changed to 0.7)
4. K&N air filter 33-2788
5. Mass Air Flow Meter cleaned
6. Engine clean
7. New air intake box, with a quote 'fart flap' built into the lid, in case of blow back.

The P38 runs very smooth on petrol and LPG, the response is incredible after the changes where made. Looking forward to the next phase.

Phase two happens at the end of the week if the weather is good, will keep you posted. If your interested that is !!!!
This phase will be all the bushes, shocks, drag link bar, track rod bar, steering damper, all the joints, EBC front and rear rotors, EBC greenstuff pads, K&N Oil filter, Prop Donut.
Will list everything once completed.

Stay tuned...

PS. My dinning room looks like a parts department.
