I'll probably do a B & B this time. I really can't be arsed with tents. let me know were you're thinking of camping though, so I can book somewhere.

I was gonna say we need your series for the grill but your is a Series III with a 'modern' plastic grill. Who do we know with a IIa that wants to give us a dose of zinc poisoning? Jai

Oh and have groups been decided at all yet?? Just in case in need to make any additions to my equipment. Hopefully should have my cb installed, assuming I get a weekend that's not ****y wet beforehand.

righty ho folks.

There are a load of questions being asked so I thought I'd try to iron out a few queries.

It is going to work like this I think... There is a group of vehicles who were at the pub last week, along with Spyderman, who are going up to do some lanes. They effectively make up the first group...

If others would like to join us for a great weekend, then they need to organise themselves into groups of 5 or fewer.

If there are real problems doing this then by all means let me have a list of the people who are definitely going and I will sort them into groups.

Each group will be responsible for sorting out their own routes and recoveries where necessary, along with booking their pitches at the camp site.

At the risk of saying things that everyone already knows, the following should be carried in every vehicle as a minimum:

Shovel/Jack/Spare Wheel/Tyre Weld
1st Aid Kit/Phone Charger/List of all our telephone numbers
A couple of Strops or ropes/Decent Shackles
Recovery points front and rear (At the minimum: Jate rings)
Nice Big F*** off torches

Food and Beer in case you miss lunch

Personally I am leaving on the Friday and travelling up to set up camp in the evening and get a few beers down me neck. It's Just me and Kai this time so no worries about a big tent, just a couple of little ones.

Some folks will drive on the Saturday morning, and either is good. Just arrange it within your own little group!

As mentioned prior to our Salisbury trip... everyone is joining in strictly at their own risk. Don't misunderstand me, no one would be left behind or anything like that, but if last year's outing to Salisbury is anything to go by there WILL be consequential damage to some vehicles. Making sure you have AA/RAC enough to get you home if your vehicle is knackered should be considered essential.

I think that's about it!

Cheers

Oh Yes...just remembered. A CB is almost essential. Without one you will be missing out on some great banter

Simple enough then, the next group put your names here.

Once we have a full group we'll go from there. I've got all of what is on ryder's list, I'm going to order a hi-lift as well, so from that point of view we've got the basics.

As with the Salisbury trip last year if you submit your fone numbers to me (via PM) I will create a list for every vehicle in the group.
Just in case anybody who was with us last year has changed numbers I will have everyones number please.

I have most of the bits off the list, Spare Batteries for the torch is also handy!
