Hertfordshire Lanes?????

Its certainly been an interesting evening! 30 cars... Spydie you outdoing us all!

I'll be up for the new year laning thingy Db, as long as I can laqy me hands on a new master cylinder for me Shoggy. Disco has issues as you know.

Oh yeah and working on getting them boxes you need from the loft.... I think some may still need unpacking!!!!! :)
 
Oh yeah, I towed Max's Defender back from Lilley. The fan belt had snapped, totally dead battery. Alex a mate was driving it and had to drive the whole way to Sundon Park with his head out of the window so he could see where he was going.:D It was ****ting it down.
 
i have just got in.
helped around 10 cars up hart lane and hightown road and helped a george/asda truck get going again( took 2hours!!!- sandtracks helped:).

also helped a disabled lady by giving her a lift home- her car was stuck and boxed in on hightown road, but she could not walk any distance.

i was in harpenden earlier and people were too stuck up to have a tow- they were taking the ' i will be ok ' attitude

oh well, cant help some people.
i did not think it was too bad- my first time out recovering and by myself :)

landy was spot on, but i do have one problem- my hazard light switch has packed up---- has any of you boys got one knocking around?? could do with one asap really ??

I helped clear harlington hill the fuzz turned up to shut it whilel i was there, loads of cars just going into the banks as they couldnt stop! i had to drive some seat leon thing up behind another landy as the woman driver was to scared to do it! very interesting night though!

also had to tow someone up the hill past the pub in sharpenhoe upto streatly. that is one long hill!

Hahaha what a night!

Like Jai I pulled an artic - up a steep hill. Good job he was empty but still about 18 tonnes apparently. Gave a couple of people lifts but mostly had the back lanes to my self. Out toward the villages the only motors I saw were 4x4's.

I'm fairly certain it'll be carnage on the roads today so plenty of scope I think.
 
could have done with some of you here, had jack knifed lorries all over the shop, cars sideways jammes in single lane roads, every road out of wycombe at one point was blocked, overturned bus, you name it we had it here - mental. just got back in for a cuppa but asked to go to wycombe again after that
 
went out for a little drive in the lovely white stuff this morning. but found a car stuck in a ditch so gave him a tow out and then up a hill as he couldnt get up it. then pulled a paki out as he had just decided to drive into a snow drift, i think i should of just left him!!
