I've had some time over the bank holiday weekend, and managed to fit the new brake master cylinder, re-plumbed the reservoir and reverse bled the brakes and clutch. I've just taken it out for a test run and clutch and brakes are finally rock solid again.

I'll do a final check for weeping joints tomorrow, and if all is good, re-fit the floor and I'm back on the road again.

Sent a pm to you earlier. Shame we didn't meet. One of the byways in ashwell is closed apparently due to damage. Walked some of the closed bit and couldn't see anything wrong with it. The small sign said it had been damaged.

Seems to have been a bit of an epic battle to get the brakes working properly. Apart for a brief period around Christmas, its been a year since they were working properly.
I've checked the joints again this morning and its as dry as a bone. The floors back in and it all loaded up with the crap that's accumulated in the garage for the last three months ready to go down the tip. I'm a happy bunny again

I got stuck down there myself before. Managed to winch myself out and a precarious drive the rest of the way out. One of the reasons I wanted to drive it again. Won't be open till June now.

This may be a surprise to many of you but I actually did some work on my 90 this evening!! Fitted the front ali chequerplate that spydie kindly donated ow must be over a year ago when he first got his series 1!!!
Well its fitted to the roof rack which is attached to the hard top which unfortunatly isnt attached to the 90 Yet!!

Thinking of leaving at 9.30, go to their website, Essex off road, been there once this year, was pretty good then, but probably a bit dry now, has a few good hills to go up.
