Thank you to Brett and Booger for leading. Thanks to everyone there had a good laugh and enjoyed seeing all the great machines we have in our localish area.
I had a great time out and really enjoyed getting the disco dirty had to do the off when I did as I still had some DIY shopping so needed to do that and get home as we were having dinner out.

Fun day out I will have to look at my piccies on the pc :) if anyone wants any prints I can probably sort some out very cheap. Soon I will hopefully have a full calibrated editing workflow for my photography.

Hey guys, im new here, and new to green laning, just stumbled across this forum and thread from research, i live in welwyn id love to join you guys next time you go, where do i sign up? ;)

Don't know if its somthing your interested in Franky but we have our monthly pub meet every First Wednesday of the month in Dunstable. You are most welcome to join us there. Somone is usually there from 7.30pm Its the White Lion Pub:

White Lion News and Events

Keep an eye on the Forum and jump in when somone has somthing planned. I'll be honest I'll be out of the laning bit for a month or so until I get less stuff to do at home but there is a good bunch of lads and lasses here.

What motor have you got??

We will always prefer you to have tow points front and rear it can be a simple case of fitting a jate ring £15 at the front and a std tow ball at the rear. It makes our lives easier if somthing goes not to plan when out laning either to rescue your motor or you to rescue somone else. Mainly there is no problems but you never know!

All the Best Jai

Will be taking delivery for a '12 Defender 90 SW XS with a couple of bits n pieces. Should be able to take it out in Feb :)

Cheers

Not that it won't do it, but are you sure you want to take a brand new motor green laning? It can get a bit scratchy sometimes and there's always the odd tree that seems to jump out and dent things.

None of us could guarantee that you wouldn't damage it.

Franky some of us also take part in competitions where its very unlikley that you will damage your motor. Other comps where its almost a certainty but there is a whole spectrum inbetween.

If thats somthing you may wish to look at check out Anglian LRC - Home or come to one of the comps to have a watch and maybe a sneaky passenger seat to see what its like.

Ahhh i see, haha guessing the paint protection pack they offer wont do bugger all, well ive never done it before but ive got a trusty os map so ill probably do some solo explorations first, if the going gets rough ill be jumping in my mates 1995 defender which hes due to get too :)

I'm sure we can do a few local ones that are not overgrown when you get it. Then head furthur afield. We will at some point plan a weekend away either Wales or Derbyshire which will be more rocky than trees and over grown so that may be more suitable.
