Saw a Defender in front of me get stuck, lack of ground clearance. Right hand side was easy, middle was deep. I went through the middle 3 times, first time pretty quick to keep up momentum, last 2 times on tickover just to **** of the guys who got stuck before me.


Bought a winch at the show, got a good deal. My brother in law has had it to bits and already redesigned it for better longevity.

Hey Ryder how you getting on changing that transfer box?

I have this 1.4:1 tranny box here. Do you need it cos if not I have a use for it. I do have a couple of 1.22:1 Disco ones here but you will have to come see whats what because I've not had time to check them out

Unless somone has a 1.66:1 tranny box for swaps.

Right we need to organise an outing with plenty of time for us all to get vehicles ready after the madness of the summer holls when everyones bank balance is healthier. Anyone up for an October weekend away some where? Ideas please?

Been there done that, but I'd do it again

I don't fancy the plains seemed bit boring just water and ruts. Derbyshire was worth the trip defo go there again. Salisbury plain not realy for me.

Derbyshire was better agreed, I'm up for that. Shame Chaplegate is now TRO'd for 2 years. At least we've done it though.

There was loads we didn't do last time.

I wouldn't mind a go at Leicestershire too, Viking Way if it's still open.
