The lane is at Widdington just north of Stanstead to the East of the M11. Approach from the north. Disco OS secure, front wheel is sitting on a ledge a foot down from the track, back wheel is sliding over the edge, it's only being held by ropes. It's pitch black, very wet and slippery. Good luck.

I was trying to get over there tonight with Kev however, time has already ticked on and I've had somthing arranged I thought I could get out of which is now not possible.

I'm not closer to getting the landy winch wired up and ready to help. Normally I'd say feck it and come up howver pushing bad timing crap equipment and no spare tyre (same size) but I'm not going to get there until 8pm now earliest and I'm reluctant to get up there tonight because of this. Bob and Sible I do not know what its like not been there as yet but if you can help sounds good make sure the landy is always safely tied to a tree at all times. I'm going to bolt my Landy back together and get it ready to roll so if the worst case comes its ready for tomorrow night.


By the sounds of it its not too bad and th epics seem not too bad.

I really think that this is a daylight job.
If anyone OS going tonight check first that someone is still with the car, Ryder gave me the impression that they'd given up for the night.

Looks like the weather and a lack of daylight have stopped play. If they can't get it out tomorrow daytime, I'm available tomorrow evening. Will keep an eye on this thread, can bring extra ropes and shackles, a 5ft high lift and a scaffold pole to the party - who's bringing the BBQ!!
