Looks good I would go for a 7meter one for starters. the only thing is it doesn't say the rating of the shackles which makes me wary. They need to be rated and stamped ideally. I would email them and ask if they are rated shackels and if so rated at what? If they are good give me a shout I'll get a new rope too I need a 5Meter one to carry in the back. Jai

Bollix I'm going to order the 21.5 tonne 5 meter rope tomorrow It just needs the eyes sorting out not spliced too great but should be good. Mabe order some shackels if they are rated above 4Tonnes. Jai

Can anyone help me with this? I have looked at the sign at the start of this UCR and it clearly says highway. I can not see a way through the property ajoining it though. Here is the map for the little lane... this is a right of way is it not?

Rear brakes are shot, but I'm not going to do any more damage to them that isn't done already. I've never seen shoes with no liners whatsoever on them. New stuff won't be here till next week. Surprising thing is they still work fine.
I'm free Sunday & Monday.

Many of the bucks lanes are closed permanently. There are a few though, we drove a couple of interesting ones over toward princes risborough, but bewarned there are ruts enough to catch you out on one or two of them.
There's also a really arsy landlord as you get toward s oxfordshire... I think Brett has the pub name somewhere or it is listed earlier in the thread!

There's not much in Bucks. Good one over by the M40, near narrow gauge railway. Ruts can be tricky though.

They're trashed, so I've ordered complete new rear brakes, shoes & drums. Carrying on with the trashed ones until the new stuff arrives will do no more harm.
Gibbo-Phil has told me tonight that Lilley has been completely resurfaced with stone, flat as a pancake. I think that's a mistake as it let's chavs in nicked cars access to the farmland and golf course.
