Hertfordshire Lanes?????

Thank you to Mr V for showing me those lanes in Dunstable. I went back there again today to show my wife and son. He especially liked that puddle at the end of the second lane :)
 
Thanks Spyderman,should be getting steering guard with recovery points , and the diso has got a towbar hope thats ok for a recovery point ?? be getting my tyres this week ,set of bronco roughriders money a bit tight at the mo ! cheers

Well we did but it pulled us with a 90 and it was mostly on the driveway approach!
 
well I went and marshalled the local compsafari now i wanna play mota! No money and no time so thats another one for the list! Jai

I've Just been on one of my "friends" facebook pages on my lappy top,
It's interesting what you can find in videos.
For example. one video i found had a "4x4" trying to get up a hill, which looks like its on a lane not to far from here. Its making the most rediculously (cant spell) fast approach, getting half way to the top, getting stuck because the driver is an idiot, ragging the crap out of it and chopping the lane up. Then breaking hard, sliding back and loosing control into the grass verge, then not thinking "i've done enough damage already and its not working" but the idiot tries it again at faster speed, gets to the top turns round and then gets to the brow and floors it down again.
I was quite supprised of this person. IDIOT
Its people like that that ruin it for the rest of us.
Lets all remember the ramblers do not need any more of an excuse to get the lanes closed from us.
I'm not perfect by any means at all. but i hate the idea of us loosing the right to do something we all love.

OK rant over. looks like u lot had a good weekend, gutted i missed it! next time! :)
Landy is much better thanks to DB, what a legend that man is! He's helped the majority of us at some point. not coz he has to but coz he's a nice guy

Great pics! ditto on the DB comments... he has little enough spare time and always manages to9 make time to help us out when we need it most. That does seem to be a central theme to our little group though! i've learnt more in the last 12 months about landys than in the previous few years!

Gutted we are missing all the fun but we'll be back on track soon. Money dictates that I take the repairs slowly and carefully, then there will be the mot for the landy so aiming to be ready for the summer events!

As far as this IDIOT who has done the videos on FB can i have sum details please?
Bit of name and shame might be in order instead of the wool being pulled over everybodys eyes mate.
 
The person has had strong words of advice and i hope they have learned their lesson...... one last chance i think to be "converted" from prat to respectable laner.
had a convo with the glass rep today, somones filed a case to get violetts lane closed

Fort that was a road.Cant be a by way- more of a river.Also very hard to damage it seeing as its a water course.
