here's another td5 hybrid "cough!!!! ringer

i own this landrover and can guarantee it is not a ringer or anything else,it has been built up about 2 and half years ago on new chassis,i know the history of the car,so dont know what the problem is,it has been checked out by police already in 2009 and was cleared to go back on road,so stop gossipin and find sumat interestin to talk about!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, if you know the vehicle...then you know its not a 1987 defender 90 and should not be advertised as such.

And why are the plates black?

Any reciepts available for said work and components used?

found your blog,thanks! see everybody presumes all landys are ringers,im glad mines not it was built up from new chassis a td5 chassis with all legal running gear,its been police checked in 2009 so im not worried,anyway thanks for contacting me

Do you get your insurance from the police? This is NOT a 1987 fender 90. Why are you advertising it as such?

when you say new !!!! do you mean brand new from land rover,galvanised, or new for that jeep an wot about the engine were did that come from an the body ie rear tub, bulk head, td5 wings,doors????

this is how i bought it as a 1987 rebuilt as td5 cant understand what the problem is,it was built from parts off a cat b breaker onto new chassis i,m on the understandin half these landys on the road are ringers not mine!!!!

I'm not saying its a ringer..i'm saying its not a 1987 90...and you stand to get feck all from your insurance co if they see those photos!!

It should have been on q plate.

when you say checked by police do you mean SVS or just ordinary bobby with no knowledge of vehicles

or did you use another 90 to repair the cat b? also use its i.d? sounds more probable to me

That tells me one of two things.
Either an older fender has had it's id put onto this 90 and then scrapped. This would have most likely been done to cover up a stolen, written off or scrapped car.
Or (unlikely) a 1987 fender has been totally upgraded to this state. In this case it should be on a Q plate.

Either way it doesn't add up. We're not saying you did it.
