forget the plates how is it a 1987-03 td5 spec with td5 engine an don't pull are leg its a rebuild forget the galv chassis you've had dipped for £575 some people think we were born today never mind yesterday

Wouldnt it have been cheaper to buy a TD5 than to do all the work he claims. I dont think you could get a barge poll long enough for me on this one

i told him its what ive always been looking for and if its hpi clear and do the chassis numbers match lol lets see what he has to say lol

I've just checked my ebay messages, he had a look see but couldnt find the relevant thread so I've pointed him in the right direction. I AM NOT A FECKIN GRASS...RIGHT ! lol

he says its genuine chassis number matches logbook and its hpi clear oh and it had a new chassis a couple years ago i think hes telling the truth, so i just asked him if it was a ringer

It probably is a genuine chassis number... from a different chassis.

not that difficult to stamp new numbers into the chassi though

i think there must not be many 300- 200 tdi's left for these people to steal so there ringing td5's wonder who will be the first to claim a 2.4tdci rebuild lol :doh: this is getting beyond the joke now

well we had a 2.4tdci 90 in other day for a few tyres and tracking. bog standard commercial model. i was suprised when i asked the customer for the keys and its just a standard defender key, no fob, chip etc. wtf!!! i could have gone to asda got a key cut and taken that landy from there yard as its a company vehicle. but im not like that but do ya know what i mean!
